Our children are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to ensuring they receive exciting and engaging learning experiences through a rich and varied curriculum, delivered in a safe and nurturing environment. At James Cambell we believe in building children’s oracy and love of reading and ensure our children have lots of opportunities to speak publicly and become lifelong readers. We want our children to love their time at school, make great academic progress, and be ready for future success.
Our dedicated and friendly staff team are committed to making this happen, working in close partnership with parents, carers and the local community. We are a very welcoming school and love to invite families in to join us – during parents’ evenings, culture days, Christmas and summer fairs, poetry and singing festivals and year group assemblies.
We value inclusion and are proud to be part of a diverse community with over 40 different languages being spoken at the school.
